Flooring/Design Sales Associate
The Design Consultant is responsible for assisting customers with flooring. This individual is passionate about customer service and working with others. Looking for someone that has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with a company. Our company prides itself on the repeat and referral business we receive through exceptional customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Database input
- 3-5 years customer service experience
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Requires
- Stay current on design trends and understanding of trends in your market
- Desire to learn about flooring products, design trends and flooring/design industry
- Maintain a high level of customer contact and follow up
- Assisting customers in floor selection
- Proposal writing and working up estimates
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willing to work retail hours
Store Hours and location
- Multiple locations
- Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday - 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday - Closed
- Must work every other Saturday
- Must close a few nights a week (11 am -7 pm shift)
- Working 5 days a week, no more than 40 hours a week
