Flooring/Design Sales Associate

The Design Consultant is responsible for setting appointments, meeting with customers to determine design needs in the selection of tile, wood, stone, carpet in various colors textures, patterns, and design. This individual is passionate about customer service and working with others. Looking for someone that has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with a company. Our company prides itself on the repeat and referral business we receive, and this is accomplished by giving every one of our clients the attention and care they deserve when they come to our store. While knowledge in the floor industry is preferred, it is not required.

Minimum Requirements:

Database input
3-5 years customer service experience
Proficient in basic mathematical skills
Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Requires:

Stay current on design trends and understanding of trends in your market
Desire to learn about flooring products, design trends and flooring/design industry
Maintain a high level of customer contact and follow up
Assisting customers in floor selection
Proposal writing and working up estimates
Excellent customer service skills
Willing to work retail hours

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.

Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday - 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday - Closed

Must work every other Saturday
Must close a few nights a week (11 am -7 pm shift)
Working 5 days a week, no more than 40 hours a week.
